Thread: I can't seem to tame anything... did they fix this bug?

I was reading the sticky at the top and it said there was a bug which prevents you from taming creatures.
I've tried all day to tame creatures and I always get the, "You cannot tame that" message. I have tamed a level 17 critter just recently but now I cannot tame a level 17 at all.
I also don't know what level creatures I CAN tame. I am CH 0202 right now... but I just am not sure what level of creature is tameable. Do I have a chance to tame ANY level creature?
I tried a Gurk, (I really wanta Gurk) and I tried a Snorbal, Hurton and some bird type thing (forgot the name but its on Lok). I know the Gurks are not aggressive, Hurtons may be and I don't think snorbals are either.
Any insight would be great.

Looks like the level 17 creature you tried to tame and couldn't was the "bug".
The Gurk on the other hand is a lvl 38 or so creature and you would need to be higher in the ch trees.
Look in the Ctrl + S area left hand side middle box if I remember correctly and scroll down to "max level of pet" This is the highest creature level you would be capable of taming at any given state of your ch grind.
