Hey Guys,

A friend of mine just strated going CH. She is a novice. She is also a Combat Level 80. She is having a tough time getting XP when she is fighting. What is the best strategy for her. Reading the stickies really wasn't very fruitfall as she keeps getting basically 1XP.

Please let me know

I don't know how as i've been a MCH for 2 years and the game has changes 50 times since then lol

If she does not attack, and only her pet(s) do, then she will get full CH xp.

Whats the fastest way to master CH?

I suggest you get a group and go hunting, cause if you do it solo with another master combat profession your in for a grind only thats second only to Jedi. CH XP is calculated based on the difference in the CL of the creature/NPC your fighting and the CL of your character NOT the CL of your pet. Remember you get a 10% XP bonus for every level your targets level is above yours and you get a 10% XP reduction for every level your level is above that of your target.

When fighting creatures at my level why do I get a very small ammount of CH XP compaired to my other weapon XP?

CH XP is split between your normal weapon XP and CH XP based on the % of damage done IE out of 1,000 possible XP if you do 75% of the damage with a rifle and your pet does 25% of the damage you get 750 rifle XP and 250 CH XP.

If neither of those answer your question then she is probably bugged.
