I have done this proff and added I think it was one tree of BH (pistols I believe) to better accent the pistol a MCM gets as a weapon. Now as you have noticed this was past CH combat class for me (well recent but in the past)only because it is a highly stategic mix. There is alot to control in combat and combat is long too, with dots and pets and whatever else, but this doesn't mean it is bad, on the contrary it is highly effective and I acutally did the phase 4 village attack on the village quest (have to kill rediculous amounts of sith shadows and sith thieves)while I was MCM MCH BH0040 (using a cl66 BE Rancor) and it was the best fight I was in in a long time. I was everywhere, healing, commanding my pet man just thinking about it is giving me the shakes again.
So what am I trying to say, well, it is a great temp and offers a variety of gameplay, so if you like a stategic battle where you can use a ton of skills this is a great choice. Personally I got tired of it, however I understand a great deal more about the game and pvp these days to see the usfulness of different mcm attacks in combat. Oh and yes you can heal your pets using cm skills, for that matter you can heal AND buff droids or pets.
