Thread: Not a bad couple days of taming

Thought I'd post a positive experience after the extremely disappointing news we heard about the CR delay yesterday. God knows we need something positive since the Devs sure aren't providing it.
The past 2 days have probably been the best taming experience I've had yet. I had a lot ofproblems with failed (and aggro'd) tames early in the week, so I found someone selling +16 taming shirts.Since Wednesday,I'vefilled my datapad with the following:
- 2rancors - Khaos and Gorgoniy
- 2 rhoa kwi pack leaders - Centurion and Thor
- 3 gurrecks (from one 4-spawn) - Lantaron, Sigurd, and Gunnar
- 1 blurgg (because they look cool) - Sarut
Added to the following and my datapad is looking pretty good:
- 2 rancors - Ajax and Atlas
- 2 gurrecks - Apollo and Marshall
- 2 toxic merek battlelords - Ares and Tyr
- 2 arachne webmasters - Kronos and Kraken
- wasteland cu pa (mount) - Zephyrus
I'll begin my search for a wild dune boar and my 3rd rhoa kwi pack leader this weekend. Yea, I know they're all wild and inferior to BE pets, but I prefer to catch my own pets.

Actually, I'm a BE and I still prefer my wild pets most of the time. I'm wondering though, why are you collecting multiples of the same type? that doesn't leave a lot of room for different pets.

I've been collecting multiple rancors and gurrecks because, with intimidation, they're the bestCL 50tanking pets (my current CL cap). Nothing else comes close if you're fighting single targets.I just swap out pets when they get low on health. I've considered using pet stims and healing my pets (thus allowing me to get rid of some multiple pets), but pet stims aren't easy to find on my server and they're so darn expensive. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place though. How much should I pay for pet stims and how much do they heal for?

I have not a bad night either, decieded to go try my luck on find screechers, first set of missions I did, the second one spawned a baby!! Then I got another one not 20 mins later. 
Now any hints on getting a bull rancor baby?

i had a nice stomp around corellia ..was surprised when i came upon not 1 razor cat nest but 2 both with babys .. but it gets better !..next door were 2 crimson razor cat nests with 2 babys..but it gets better !..next door to that where to giant carrion spat nests with 2 babys.

I had one great night of taming I never really tried taming before always stuck with BE pets. but I figured I would give it a shot.
2 Graul Maulers I could have gone back for the 3rd that popped out.
2 Crimson Razor Cats
My problem was I was trying to get a gurrek too but when I found some they said Tameable: No.....
I thought these were tameable???

When did Gurrecks start spawning on Dantooine?
I thought they were exclusively on Endor?
I had a good nite last nite in taming too.
I went to Endor looking for a Toxic Merek Battlelord, and a Webmaster.
What I came home with is:
2- Toxic BattleLords
1- Avenging Merek
2- Webmasters
1- Arachne Warrior
Not too bad for a quick trip to Endor for some usuable pets.
