Thread: how unfortunate!!

OK let me be the first to post these questions:
1) Where?
2) Wild lair? Mission lair?
3) What type of lair was it?
4) Why oh why does this have to happen to lower level creature handlers?

I saw a boatload of rare pets when I was tagging along with a friend on Dathomir. Even with 4224 I couldn't tame one of them.

Er yeah hehe I can't edit, sorry for the double post. What I forgot to add is if you just found it wandering around or not. Also I wasn't awake enough to see your waypoint in the screenshot. I need to stop posting so late heh.

Mission Lair or Random Spawn? Looks like missions but i'd like to clarify. What level difficulty was this mission (if a mission lair) and what was the monetary pay on it? BTW, how long ago was this? Sorry for the question, i'm about to start my hunt and this i hear is extremley difficult. Thanks!

It looks like a wild spawn, for there is no mission WP.

yeah i think this pic says it all. First of all, I couldn't tame it, and second it was dead and aggro!


So...i think i wont be seeing one of these in while

I also heard these rancors are hard to find... correct me if im wrong

It was a mission spawn. My wp system is messed up. I believe it was a bull rancor lair. I can't seem to remember the difficulty level, but the lair spawned 2 rancor youths and a bull rancor at the same time

Now it's starting to anger me... Yesterday, while I was hunting Rancors with my guild, we ran into a Bull Rancor (Baby) and a Rancor (Baby). Both were killed (hopefully accidental)... Same area, same lair.
