So ive been gone about a year or so, and i decided to take them up on their kind 10 day offer to recheck things.
Man has stuff changed.
Im a 3 1 3 2 CH right now, says CL +32, and the only thing i can pull out of my datapad anymore is my giant crystal snake, which while a cool pet, is kinda klunky otherwise.
Any suggestions on a good BE pet to get at this level? (ive been reading a lot to try to catch upand everyone says BE beats wild now). I cant pull out any of my other Difficult 50 pets, though i do have an old probot, but its probably been replaced too.
Also, whats considered a good way to gain CH xp these days to grind on up to Master CH?

Go tame yourself a dune lizard because of its ranged attack and head to the geo caves on yavin 4. actually do a search for Geo lab int he CH fourm. Someone actually wrote a guide for it

I just read the Geo caves exploit is fixed as of patch 11. Somethign about not beign able to get unlimited spawns anymore.
It woudl be interesting to see a new server spring up, just due to all the exploit fixes over the year, see how quick folks still make master.

You will find alot has changed and none for the better. All wild pets were severely nerffed in December. You will find all medium armor gone and wild pets are useless. Find a BE. You want a pet at that level with AR1 and 60% kinetic resists. The skin, type of creature, does not matter. I prefer cats because they are smaller and faster. You can also get special attacks like dizzy/poison and others. I would also suggest you get one that has ranged attack. You can not command it to use it's ranged attack. Unfortunately, you can not command it to stop using it and go melee. If you have a good combat class it save wear and tear on the pet. You should also know that buffs are now very good and you can get composite armor that will make you invunerable. I am MTK/MCH and can take on 16 Enranged Rancors at one time, with no pets, and not even work up a sweat.
