so ya know what the title said. Tiggs just said CU is live on TC.

My only real point was that the next version of TC to go online will have CURB for people to play test. They gave a 2 hour ETA, but i'm sure a publish of that size might have a hitch or two.
I just wanted CH'ers to know so they can get on with DL the TC and updating process so when it goes live today (hopefully) they can just go, instead of rushing to DL at the same time as everyone else.
I wanted all those who have major questions and doubts about the CURB to know thier chance to play it is coming not only soon, but according to the latest Dev info, it's coming today within hours.
The wait continues but they are trying right this very moment to get TC up with the CURB, that's better than where we where a few days ago.
New info from Tiggs: "I really, really hate to post this because I am afraid of the amount of pages this thread is going to get up to but I have no choice... TC-5 (combat upgrade server) is now delayed by 90 minutes.
Don't hurt an injured person!!! *hides*"

Poor Tiggs. Being the bearer of bad news is never easy.
So, in about an hour, it should be up. Fingers crossed.

ok edit: we got to be close, I've been watching this thing like a hawk I can't wait. I got an email from a friend saying it was up but that's not true as of yet, but Dev intell tells us they are trying to bring it online.

How do I get to do this? I have never played on a test center. Please provide step by step instructions, please.

Go into your program files, find the galaxies folder, open in, find the link inside it that says test center ( it looks like the galaxies exe but it says test center), click it, install it, udate it, play.

ya lol, I DL test center a long time ago, I hope others did too otherwise they are in for a nasty surprise.
it's a heafty DL and update I'm sure. Plus everyone will be trying to do it at the same time.
The ETA was 2 hours for TC to come online with CURB on it, but you'll have to follow the link above to see how long ago that was, to get an idea of how long till the server comes online again.

You downloaded the entire TC? Erm, you can just copy the contents of your SWG folder into a new directory and use that.....

You can but you can't use all the files. When you load TC it copys some of the files, then overwirtes a ton of them with TC only files. So even if you copy your entire folder it takes a while to update to the TC version of those files, from my experiances with TC that is. I don't claim to know the most about it though.
