Wow, the past three days have had me go from the lowest point in my CH career to one of my highest.

It all started three days ago - I went GPS hunting and this day I found the baby I had been looking for on and off since dec 2003 (another CH character). But since the agression has been implemeted (to make a long story short) it aggroed everything it saw.

I tried frantically to keep up and shoot everything it charged, but how do you keep up with a cat, that stands still for about 5 sec before bolting another 70-100 meters? Eventually it jumped something that killed it. You don't need to ask me how I felt about the new aggro 'upgrade' then...At that moment I was at my lowest point since I started playing this game.

Three days later I do my GPS rounds again (I guess I never learn (c: ). I find 2 spawns, but no babies. With 1 hour left of my buffs (something Ive done since I was clone twice by a GPS due to incompetence, just to be safe (c: ) I decided to go to Endor and try a Widow lair or 2.

I fly around the area and eventually find a Widow lair with 2 widows out and a Queen. I go through the 3 'free' spawn waves and tap the lair - no baby. Last tap - baby! With trembling hands I conceal fire the adults and close in on the baby. The taste of Almond Munchie is still strong in my mouth, my hat is equipped and the gun is put away. To my supprise the baby just sit there and let me close in and initiate the taming process. Alas! Again due to my lack of skills (I guess (c: ) it aggroes me!

I run in circles trying to stay close to the lair to prevent a magic puf (baby gone). The baby chases me. I run, and it keeps coming at me. My buffs are runing out so I need to do something now. The baby has been chasing me for 9min50sec by now!. I make larger circles, with the only result being that a Arachne Hatchling joins the fray! I now have two spiders after me. When I think nothing can get worse I get poisoned (maybe twice?). My health bar starts to decrease (2550 buff) at an alarmingly haste (I cant heal myself since I have xx3x ranger tracking instead).

In my mind defeat is apparent. The baby has chased me for more than 10 min now and could easily pop any sec. My health bar has been reduced to about half ina couple of mins (I think - seemed that way). I'm surrounded by all types of lairs, and everything will charge me down if I close in. There is only one clear path away from the lair. I decide to bet all my money on this path and hope that moving further away from the lair will make the aggro disappear from both critters.

I get about 70 meters away and the baby stops and returns to the lair. I quickly arm myself and waste the Hatchling and bolt after the baby before it gets too far away and maybe resets on me...

I'm still poisoned and my health is ticking away...I reach the baby...easy boy...steady boy....don't bite me...GREEN TEXT!!!

I return to the Research Outpost to secure my price. I check my buffs - less than 9 mins left, hehe.

Phew, CH doesn't get much better than this.
