I think it would totally rock if the CH's were able to place a stable in cities. Then when the time comes for them to do CH business and do trading, they won't have to sacrifice one of their favorite animals. I mean, Master Dancers/Musicians are able to place a cantina or theater, and Master Doctors are able to place a hospital. Why not let the Master Creature Handler's place a stable for pet storage?!

Thoughts about this?? please! I want a stable for my little critters, I don't want to sacrifice useful pets along with the customer having to sacrifice some of their animals just to do a silly trade!

Thanks so much,

Actually it could be very useful as a resource harvest option. I mean you can plop down a flora farm or a miner and come back to thousands of units of resources. You can't do that with animal resources. A stable would work well for this. You could specialize resources. Dathomir insect meat. Go out and tame those babies and breed them in captivity. Now you can sell meat without going to Dath. If the resource shifts, as they all do, go tame a baby of some other critter with good meat, or hide, or bone. They don't even have to be male or female to be honest. If a BE can clone an animal why can't that technology be applied in a very simplified manner to a stable. Add one baby you get x amount of resources over x amount of time. Add two babies you get twice as much over the same amount of time.

The animal market is in the first stages of drying up. Creature handlers aren't buying as many animals because of various reason, mostly there aren't as many of them out there. Non-creature handlers are opting to buy droids and speeders.

Allowing a creature handler to tame and grow animals in a stable would provide a needed "job" for creature handlers. But hey, we can't get a fishing net so I doubt we'll get a stable.

Idea: As a CH your home has an option to place a fence on one exterior wall. This "Stable" gives you home storage for tamed pets. Also, if you place a Male and a Female of the same creature in the "Stable", after a determined length of time (say a week) you get 1 or more babies. You get CH xp for each baby and/or xp for teaching commands to these babies.

Just an idea. I like the Stable idea even just for pet storage.

Yeah, this should be done. I hate having to just destroy my old pets. I mean, its sort of a waste, ya know?
