Thread: Good deal or a rip-off?
I remember back when I first started the long route to MCH and some random MCH just came up to meand gave me a low lvl BE Angler (I think it was 9k health and CL 7 - of course it got nerfed later). That was the nicest thing that ever happened to me in the game at that time. Much laterwe becamebuddies and members of the same guild. Now I always give my surplus animals away to novice CH to help them on their way. The money I could make selling a pet is minute compaired to what I make doing missions and bazaar sales anyway. On the other hand I stopped mounting pets for ppl because the last few ppl I helped that way pretty much treated me as a slave. So pretty much: be nice and ppl tend to be nice to you.
And to answer your question: I don't think there is a set price for pets, and especially because the marked is so small today most ppl will be happy just to find a CH that have what they want (c:
My rule of thumb has always been 1k for every level of CL....CRC is level 29 so in my book he actually got off cheap.
But thats just my pricing ![]()
IMHO, it's your right to ask for as much as you want. You can sell your pet for 100k. I wouldn't say you ripped him off. If he's willing to pay, or not pay, it's his decision. You named a price, and he either pays or doesn't. I don't think you should feel guilty if you think you "overcharged" him. That's his choice.
Ripping off would be if you said you're selling a frenzied graul but instead you give him a graul. That's what I consider ripping off. But then again, I'm a capitalist American pig. ![]()
