Figured I will start a trading type message board. After last night I now know we can trade each others pets and train them and then trade them back which is pretty cool for a quick fix if your buddy has something you might want on your own pet. However being the 'type A' that I am, I actually need/want the skills for myself as well

After 3 days of purely killing Mottled wrix and looking for ravenous torton's I am unable to get the Marring Storm L1. I have a few pets and delete many more than I'd be more than willing to trade to someone for a pet with Marring Storm L1.

Unused pets I have currently:

Paniked rage L2

VIgorous Health L1

Hamstring attack L2

Panicked Rage L2)

Let me know if your looking for something particular, I'll keep an eye peeled so we can do a trade.

A good idea Wrage, but 1 teeny-weeny problem: You are limited to just trading on your own server

Probably better off hitting your server board - but worth posting on the CH board because it's a good idea!

I got marring Storm L1 off of a mountian squill lvl 25 from Tat, you might try to tame a few of those. But I aggree me and my buddies do this now, but a large scale trade would be cool.

i thought that you couldnt learn a pets abilities if it had been used by someone else

Aye you are correct. You can NOT learn another pets abilities if used. However you can trade your favorite pet who is missing something you desperately want on him (given he has the skill pts available) and have your buddy who already has your favorite skill in his learned inventory and your buddy can put it on him for you, and then hand it back.

The trade skillz forum im trying to get started is purely tamed (yet unused pets) that can be traded and then learned to the new owner. But as mentioned earlier, prolly better to start on each individual server.

So let me get this straight if my buddy has a pet with open training pts and I put marring storm on it for him, He can then use that pet and learnMarring stormfrom the pet?

No GaladanAZ he cant learn it but his pet will have that ability to use... Its like hiring a mechanic to hot up your car... It now goes faster whe nyou drive it, but you have no idea what he did to make it faster...

Another thing possible (which I've been trying to set up on Infinity *plug*) is to keep that duplicate Marring Storm L2 that you just tamed rather than destroying it. An unused pet can be traded, and the special can be learnt off of it..

(PS - if you're on Infinity and the post is way off the front page, just search for "CH pet exchange" on Infinity Trade. Just started really so not too many posters yet....

I was in the process of learning Marring Storm L1 from a Shaupaut Hunter when I tamed a Flesh Eating Chuba with it and dumped the hunter for the quicker learning from the chuba.

Thought I would mention this if you were still interested in finding the skill yourself.

i got marring storm L1 from flesh eating chubba ch lvl 2, on bria server. then head of down to vally of death on tat take out some of those misson spawns that are left behind it took me about an hour at the most before i had learnt it

If anyone knows how to create a CH Chat channel on a server. you should post it . then if all the chs know how to log to it then we can all talk in game it would make trading easer.
