I have a question for those who are well versed in the profession's current state. Do tamed pets, or even BE pets grow to be big as a house? Back in the day, something small like a Wrix would become 8 times as big as its NPC mob counterpart and I really did not enjoy that.
PS If they do get big as a house, is there any way to cap their growth?
Thanks

Ummmm--maybe you should ask the guy whose BE'd wooley grew as big as King Kong, lol...
Well, he was a CL70 pet. It does seem to be related to CL these days, i.e. a CL25 wooley would stay small (wierd, huh?). My female narglatches, however, when fully grown, are larger than their wild counterparts, and they are only CL22.

Yeah pre-cu all pets grew to thier avergae size, depending on that creature. But a Wild tame dpet would grow a little extra larger cause it was a tamed pet (I remember if anyone owned a pre-patch extinct pet pre-cu it was huge!!! like a bloodseeker mite queen) But slowly the extra biggness in wild pets disapeared one one of the patches hit. (I remember cause my friend Crim had tamed a revonous torton before the patch, and when the patch hit the torton stopped gorwing but his level kept growing, It was a tiny full grown torton named Large-Marge) Now after The CU, They made BE pets gorw to thier level.. so a level 5 rancor can be stepped on at full growth, but a level 70 Razor Cat will be the size of a wild fambaa...... crazy right.. and pathetic being that only high leveled pets are effective, and too big to group with.

i m a little unsecure at the moment looking at pet growth. before pub 21, when natural pets grew in the datapad automatically they stopped when they reched their normal size.
my post-pub 21 tamed natural Cowardly Gurreck (CL32) doesnt stop growing. i havent finished his training (1 open ability slot left) so he still gets rollovers and more training points when i let him gain training XP. He is now twice the size of its natural kind. my Crazed Gurreck (also CL32) has the normal natural size as i finished his training (used the last ability slot) when he had normal size - no more rollovers as he cannot gain any more training XP.
like with many things in the game i m not sure if this is a feature or a bug.

Hrm. Thanks for the feedback. The reason why I asked is because I'm looking to have a pet for my character as a concept. This pet would be like a 'Lassie' type of pet and the only one he used in combat and it almost always was out walking around with him.
I'm considering either a Gurrcat looking pet or a Gurreck looking pet, but I only want them to come up to his waist in terms of their size. I thought I read that you could stunt their growth if you either left an ability slot open or if you filled them, but I forget now.
