Creature Handler Archive

I've been a CH since the beginning when we were horribly overpowered, through the bandwagon period where everyone, their mother, best friend, and their wookiee decided to go CH. That time where BD Quenkers and Graul Maulers were the only animals you saw. I was a CH during mounts, when their stats got shot through the floor, and when the new rare pets came out.

Honestly, this profession has had tons of bugs in it all along, but the main concern seems to be over nerfing it, rather than making it more useful. I miss the days when my pets could own people in PvP, and were the only reliable tanks in PvE. Now they're more of collector's items than anything. Also, notice how we're the ones to get nerfed first, before the other combat professions, making this profession 100% useless in PvP.

If the DEV's are really looking for something to hit with the nerf bat, here's a few suggestions:

I have noticed the same thing for about a week now, but it has been getting progressively worse. I began thinking about it when I was sitting and resting with my BE Angler. Normally she stays about 3-4m away, but after 30 seconds, she would consistantly move in to the 0m range again. I was hunting Bull Rancors and the top end Rhoa Kwis with her for fun last night and when in combat the bug would also manifest itself. She was running off into the sunset with them once again. It became difficult to manage as a melee'r.

On the bright side though, I did have Rhoa Kwi Guardian and a Pack Leader babies spawn from the same lair. The Pack Leader baby was resistant to my taming. He bit me three times even with my +25 sunguard. Too bad the account will be closed before they're full grown.
