I'm just curious, most of the people I've seen here are rare pet collectors. Personally, I don't care about rare stuff. I plan on going all BEed pets for pretty much my entire CH career. Just don't want to collect. I might try to find a few of the creatures that I'd find useful that can only be found in nature, but for the most part I plan on getting several very specific BEed pets (my char's still too broke to afford it). Am I alone in this?

Well, I'm pretty new to the game (going on six weeks) so you could probably care less about my imput since I don't really have any experience to back it up. I mastered Swordsmanship about two weeks ago and just wanted a template that was as self-sufficient as possible. This is what I am planning:

Well, I'm pretty new to the game (going on six weeks) so you could probably care less about my imput since I don't really have any experience to back it up. I mastered Swordsmanship about two weeks ago and just wanted a template that was as self-sufficient as possible. This is what I am planning: Master Swordsmanship (done), Master Creature Handling (currently 2/2/1/2), Teras Kasi Artist 4/0/0/0 (done), Medic 1/0/0/0 (done).

I figure with this template I should be able to do high level missions without having to group as well as spend minimal time at medical centers and cantinas (unfortunately I can't do a damn thing about battle fatigue). I really am not into collecting rare pets. I am more into collecting pets that will get the job done in battle (I only pve). I also don't intend to use bioengeneered pets. I am hoping that the only things that I will have to bother with, as far as other players, are stimpacs, weapons, and armor. Although I amstronger in battle with Swordsmanship than any pet that I will ever have, a high powered pet (or a pair of lesser powered ones) will make thejob a bit easier.

I'm not a collector and have been playing CH for a while, but I'm also going BE. So like yourself I can get the better pets and use them as tanks. The advantage is that being a BE i don't have to pay for my pets, I can just make whatever i fancy and give/sell them when I'm bored with them. Of course I also have the advantage of making my own pets stims so I'm saving costs there too.

I do still train from the wild when I get an opportunity, such as my pet monkey (Hanadak?) that I caught on Endor. But generally I can make better than I can find.

Arrr, so no one else? I want to have someone else to talk to about good strategies with BE'ed pets and stuff...

i have a gurreck made with bark mite burrower DNA that excels at tanking nitesister elders and krayts. they still need healing but soloing with master rifle is very do-able. i generally dont collect pets and only have one BE. but when i come across a spawn of rhoa kwi pack leaders i stop to see if i can spawn a baby. i dont actively hunt for rares.

im still hoping they make lokian pharples tamable. most of my pets are wild ones below level 30.

The rarest thing I have in my datapad is a Prowling Gurreck and I had to buy that darn thing because I could never get a baby spawn.

The only rare I care to own right now is a Great Plains Stalker and I have killed 24 adults so far and have not had a baby pop.

Other than that I have a couple BE pets with one being a level 52 Gurreck made with Bark Mite Burrower Worker DNA.....his name is Excalibur and he is the best pet I have ever had in my datapad.

But I am still impartial to all my wild pets that include 4 Greater Sludge Panthers, 4 Grand Wrixs, 3 Crimson Rasor Cats, 1 Prowling Gurreck, 1 Gaping Spider Hunter and 2 Gaping Spiders As you can tell I just love those cat skins

The only reasonI like BE pets is because you can get massive HAM in a small container. and you can get cool stuff like Kimos.
