I'm not sure where this "feature" stands anymore. I'm dropping MCH -- does anyone know if I can keep my CL50 and less pets in my pad? Will the game now delete them as I give up each skillbox? I'm naively hoping I can return to CH next year or whenever the profession works well again and I want to keep my pets. Thanks.

I recently dropped all of my CH skills, and my pets are still sitting in my datapad. I can't call any of them, but they're still there.

you will still be able to keep all of your pets. However, if you want to start CH over again, I hope you have a non-CH pet to grind with. Otherwise you'll have to delete all your other pets to get room for a new non-CH pet.

Very good point indeed. I remember when I was giving up master CH to finish BH. Before I gave it up, I trained all my pets in all commands I had, then I made sure I had a good enough variety so I could still call something good on the way down the tree until I was closer to mortal levels. that made it much easier to work my way back up the tree. If all you have are level 50's, then once you drop below that, you're not even a CH anymore. If you don't have a pet to call, you're a mere mortal.

Soln, I don' t know how tight on SP you plan to be, but I've dropped all the CH I will ever drop. I'm at 0/0/0/4, I can still call my CL 24 and below pets, regardless of aggro or non-aggro skin, and I still have 160k banked CH XP for when I start working my way back up.

If you go out all the way, you'll need to have at least one CL 12 or below pet available you can call on your datapad to start gathering XP again, and you'll have to do it exclusively through combat, unless you release pets on your datapad to make room for TTR.

Good luck. Hopefully there will still be a profession around when you're ready to be reunited with your kids.
