I stumbled across this beast's name completely by accident on swgcreatures.com. You know, I find it funny that I've been a MCH on two servers for more than 1.5 years now and I still keep coming across creatures I've never heard of every day, even on planets I live on.
It would appear to be a creature in the dalyrake/perlek/screecher-skin class, and for a low-level CH, the screaming kai tok doesn't look too bad.
So, I went bounding off on Rori (now that the spawns have returned), and have turned up nothing so far. I assume these beasts cannot be gotten on the mission terminals.
My question to the general consensus is, has anyone seen one of these creatures in recent times?

I had a screaming kai tok briefly last fall, when I was trying to assemble a complete collection of four-legged fliers. I like the sound they make when they're told to stay, but mine was incredibly awful when it came to running from battles (not as bad as a war gronda, but worse than a greater gulginaw).
Picked mine up in the wetlands south of Restuss. I thought it was from a mission lair, but I can't be 100% sure (as I don't normally spend a lot of time on Rori).

I have never seen one. But Rorri was a dead planet for so long I hardly ever spent any time there.

I'm looking now....
The weird thing about the creatures are the eyes....and in the picture on swgcreatures.com, their head looks like a direct drawing knock-off of a pteradactyl <sp>.

Yes I have seen many of them, probably cause I used to live on Rori. But I saw them mostly up north in the mountains. But it is almost 1 year ago I saw them, so no clue about them now.

I just went out and tamed one, so yeah they are out there, both screaming kai tok and usual kai tok with babies

Heh... which of those flyers you collected did you like best, Vert? I've always like the look of them -- perleks, mantigrues, reptilians from Dathomir, etc., but never really stuck with them due to inventory-size limitations. (Oh, for the day when we can display pets in a zoo or corral....)

Regarding Greater Gulginaws...
Ok, I'm going to assume since you are speaking about these beasts in past tense that they are literally extinct in every sense of the word. No one on SWG creatures has seen one at all, no waypoints available. Since the devil gulginaws are generally only seen on Talus anymore...maybe someone has sighted one there?
P.S. I found a screeching kai tok, thanks for that.

Nope not extinct, just really rare. I dont think they can be pulled on terminals. I am right now looking at a static spawn on Talus. -2649, 2568
