Dezi, go up the Training tree to get the most pet storage. You'll be able to go up one entire branch (14 SP) or, in the alternative, two first tier boxes (10 SP, +4 pet levels for both) and two boxes of one of those two branches to max out your 17 SP. The pet levels are identical on each tree, moving up to the fourth box on any one of them will enable you to call CL 24 and below. It's basically first tier +2 pet levels, second tier +2 pet levels, third tier +3 pet levels, and fourth tier +5 pet levels.

So, one branch all the way to the top, +24 pet levels, two first tier boxes and two more on one branch, +23 pet levels. You'd use up all your available SP in the later case.

I disagree. I feel that although pet storage is useful for some, it sounds as if you are shooting for maximum possible damage, hence the TKM.

I'd go up the taming tree because given that you can find a creature with a good special attack, that line will give you special attack 1 at tier 3 and special attack 2 at tier 4. It still enables you to get the same creature level.

The difficulty is you will only have storage for two creature so make sure you have a good special attack.

Or another suggestion would be go to taming 3 and take management 1. You get CL=23, but you gain the ability to group with your creature.

But then again, it depends on what you want the creatures for.

I was also wondering about using 18 sp in CH (I'd have to drop medic for this). Is there any interest in buying tamed baby creatures? What "level" taming is required for what level creature? I was thinking about possibly taming a high kinetic resist creature for myself and then selling tamed baby xxx's. Am I wasting my time thinking about this? Should I keep Medic and put my 3 final SP into FS skills?

No, there's really no market; I give them away to people at starports. I'll tame on consignment and not expect payment, frankly. At novice, you can tame CL 12 and below critters, so you can tame anything a non-CH might be able to control.

if he is a tkm..there is no need for special attacks..he will do all the damge..he just needs tanks..by the time even a plague strike starts to tick..he will have killed the target..and a higher level ch can teah his pets the specials if he becomes enamored with them

I would disagree. You can always get someone else to train pets for you... so it's not necessarily for the skills but rather a) lvl of the pet and b) how many you can have.

Of course... that's just me... and it's what I've done. I'd rather have a nice assortment of animals than certain commands I can train to my pets.

Thanks, I'm going for master CH so I'll keep him in the book case 'till that day. I've got a baby flesh eating chuba which is cool for now

Your right. My mistake. I forgot that others can train your pet as well.
