Thread: Question on bull rancors...

i have heard different opinions on whether a bull rancor baby only appears in wild spawns or can appear in mission spawns. can anyone confirm that the will spawn out of both? ive only done about15 missions so far but i dont want to continue if it wont spawn babies

First of all, I think people do tame them out of mission lairs. Secondly, justa big LOL much like the great plains stalker post from yesterday. I have killed hundreds and hundreds of bull rancor lairs and never seen a baby. My jedi pal has been through the grind to knight mainly on Rancor/Bull Rancor lairs in the wild and constantly looks for me, he has never seen a baby.
Point is, don't get frustrated, I have been looking for over a year now, without a single sighting.

My both my guild Jedi swear that they have both seen one before I joined the guild and killed them without knowing what they were

thanks for letting me know about the spawns.
btw iknow it will take more then 15 missions. it took me 3 months to find my GPS. its gonna take me even longer to find a BR but if you read my post i specifically say that i have only done that many. i was only asking if they really do spawn from lairs. i wasnt complaining that i couldnt find one

i believe milteck , founder of BEAST got both of his from mission lairs...personaly i did over 700 mission lairs and ended up getting mine from a wild lair..my advice is to do the mission lairs and hit every wild lair you see...

I know that you know, I was just laughing about the GPS post from yesterday where the guy seemed frustrated about not finding one after 5 spawns hehe.
I am starting to lose faith myself.

I spent a whole tree of FS combat xp just doing bull rancor missions. If you want to do the math, each mission gave approx 40k unarmed xp. Divide the total amount of weapon/combat xp needed for a full FS tree by that and you'll get roughly how many missions I did.
I also milked every single natural lair I came across (usually around 1 per night of running missions). Both babies came from mission lairs, not natural.
Ended up seeing 2 babieson 2 successive days of that grind. First one poofed, tamed the second.

I got mine from a bull mission.

I got mine few hours ago from a bull mission after about one year.
