Thread: So it begins the quest for a bull rancor (baby)

Mastered ch today for the second time and im now giving ago at finding these rare pets for my collection first on my wish list is the mighty bull rancor.
I have been searching on dathomir for a good few hours now and i must say i have noticed that there is hardly any spawns of any kindherethe few lairs and such that i have seenwas around a few poi's I have been across most of the planet now on bike and on foot what happened to the spawn increase broke already?

I have'nt been to Dathomir lately, but can't you just get missions for Bull Rancor Lairs?
My Bull Rancor was caught one night when I was only running BR missions for the carnivore meat. The baby was the last thing on my mind, when it spawned though there was no way I was giving up the chance. I was in tunnel vision, my heart was pounding and palms sweaty.
Both my BR and GPS were tamed in this way. I feel if someone goes out every night to do nothing but tame these rare pets they with either tame one or get so burnt out with the hunt they give up, and most likely with the rarity of the pets they get burnt out.

that's what i did , when i first made master..started the BR hunt..didn't really have a good "feel" for how to hunt..so after a couple hundred lairs i gave up and went after the other rares..one by one i collecter them all , but the BR and the WDB..then i decided it was time..my skills were honed..and i set out on a intense BR hunt..i collected 13 million credits doing missions..it was all i did..sometimes 2 buff sets a day, for several weeks..i also worked every wild lair i could find..fianlly on 01/06 i got the bull..now i have the WDB left..and honestly it's kind of anti climactic after the bull...have fun and collect the other rares..finally getting the bull is soooo much better than the others..you wont even want to bother with them if you happen to luck out and get the bull first...hone your skills on the others then hit the bul hard...just my 2 cents...have fun

Wow .... if i'm lucky i can take 2 buffsets a week ..... what am i doing wrong ?

How about this?
I am not a CH, nor does it interest me. However, I spend alot of time exploring and killing various lairs of creatures. What if I ran into a Bull Rancor Baby? Would I send a tell to a CH and they could come and tame it? Would I /tickle it and /poke it, and then leave?
I wonder if there is a market for a hunter who could spend time looking for these...

There's definitely a market for BR babies, if you stumble upon one.
The problem is finding an MCH online at the time you found it. But if you did manage to get a CH to the baby to tame it, you'd probably become the recipient of a CH Life Debt

just for the record if someone does come across a (baby) bull rancor you can find me most of the time on dath

when i was hunting, i would use the planet chat..or just do a search and send tells offering 2 mil to anyone who ound a baby and kept it alive until i got there...never had a response..other than " i see a rancor baby, how much is that worth?

there is a major market for it imo. especially if you are on Kauri.
