Thread: How much do you charge for non-BE pets?
I haven't tried selling pets in a long time. It's very difficult to sell non-BE pets, since most CH will just go out and tame their own. You'd be able to sell very rare pets like screechers and bull rancors, but then it's not likely you'll even find one to sell
As for non-CH pets, it's not worth it to me to sell those either, but I've seen people spamming prices in the 8 -10K range for mounts.

No, sorry, I'm the only one master CH (at least full time available)in my guild and i always do this job for free. And also I usually give mounts for free to newbies
Yes, maybe you have some luck finding a rare pet and maybe someone buy this pet

I find and train non-ch pets for free, too, though only for people who live in my city. I'm not often asked by anyone else, really, but the old "limited space in the datapad" issue pretty much makes it an automatic turn-down for anyone I don't know. As far as training mounts, it usually takes someone shouting an offer of 10,000 credits to train a mount for me to even stop to consider (unless they're a novice creature handler themself; I help my own). I'm typically on my way to do something else whenever anyone's asking, and the usual expectation is that I'll do it for free. My time is worth more than credits to me, though.
I will often give pets away to unsuspecting lower level CH players I run into. Often they will ask me to train them or their pet or whatever and we get into a nice conversation. If I like them I will look into my datapad (which is almost always full and needing something moved out so I can go on my next taming adventure) to see what I will most likely delete the next time I want to tame something. Then I'll just offer it to them for free.
I got lucky on one of these and got a level 63 BE gurreck from a guy who could not handle him. That gurreck likely would have sole for 2-300k minumum and was a perfect addition to my elite pets. Kindness sometimes pays off in something more than feeling good about yourself.

Thanks for the responses all.
Ah what a generous buch us CH are! ![]()
To be honest I don't want to do this to really make money (I know that BE have the creature market sewn up). I'm doing it from an RPing point of view so I can roleplay my Creature Import/Export Business. I just wanted to know a decent price guide that would go along with this.
Is there no-one out there selling non-BE pets? Not even one.......

Hello all, I will shortly be selling non-BE CH pets and I was wondering what to charge as I haven't got a clue. I was after some feedback on:
How much do you charge for pets? i.e. do you charge a certain amount per level etc
How much do you charge to train a mount? (Also do I need any equipment to do this?)
How much do you charge for training?
Many thanks in advance.
My character has been around for a long time, recently I decided to take up CH ( not as a holo gind ). Curerntly I am at 0/0/0/1, yes very new. My question is; can a non-BE put up a pet on the Bazaar? There are a lot of players who woudl like to have either a mountable pet or a pet to fight with. I am not one to spend time spamming at Coronet.
Thanks and regards,
