ok, ive been out the game since november 03 due to job requirements (navy, iraq, etc...etc...) now that im back, my friend dropped my MCH for a MWS grrrrrrrr. im not really in tune with all the changes since last year (i know there are tons!) so if you feel like posting a quick word letting me know you thoughts on the CH profession now. i have enough xp to almost get half the skill tree done instantly. i sure do miss the critters

Looks like you were pre nerf, so you're in for a change.

CH no longer mean anything in PvP or as a central component in high level PvE groups.

I believe many of the creatures you remember will have had their stats seriously borked since you last played. Specifically armor.

Many of the creatures you once loved will no longer be tameable, specifically bark mite queen andfrenzied graul (even though it says tameable).

Many pet specials still do not function properly.

Finally, we have been ignored and lied to month after month. But you can find plenty of info on that here in the forums.

Lastly....CH is still the coolest profession so don't give up.

They really should give CL 60+ pets medium armor.

Nothing drastic has changed and the changes that have been made have been for the worse.

CH is no longer a viable profession.
Its a trophy profession. A "look whati caught" profession. Sadly its even hard to show off what you caught too**
