Firstly I apologise if this is a common enquiry but I really would like to know whether it is possible to get some kind of saddlebags to store extra items on my mount? Ive done a search and an old thread indicated this would be something we would see in the future. Does anyone know if this has been implemented yet.

It's one of the many ideas that were put forward when mounts first went live. I still think that in order to train a mount, you should need saddle and tackle and soforth obtained from an artisan, who crafts it from X units of leathery hide and bone and whatnot, and that it should include storage for 5 to 10 items.

But alas, not part of the plan.

It is item #24 on our Issue/Request list. Definitely something that would be cool and useful (though perhaps not as urgent as some of the higher ranked list items).

It was a thread from over 6mths ago. I take it this isnt true then?

It was probably written, but seeing that we are still asking for a lot of things, and the devs thought that armoires that could store stuff was more important, well...

BTW, it's on the list of things we want (I beleive) but don't count on it being introduced...
