I'm a MCH. But I haven't been taming any non-CH pets in a LONG time. Recently, I've had a bunch of /tells from people asking me to get them one.
What's the best level 10 pet at the moment?

There really is no non-BE non-ch pet. The Carrion Spat might be the best available and is mount trainable but at 1200HAM it is a one hit kill. Be's make non-ch pets with up to 5k HAM. Either some one was pulling your leg to get you to waste your time, or they were a newb.

Not only that, but the babies are super-rare, and their parents get really annoyed if there's a tame fail.
