Are there any non-CH pets that are any good at tanking?

Visit your local BE and see if he/she makes pets with 3-5K health and some kinetic resists. On Chimera I sell nonCH pets with stats 5K/3K/2K 27%kn resists with a disclaimer they may one day be NERFED.

I sell them for 25K unless they have specials (KD or strong poison +10K) though some BE's charge way more.

Just make sure it's non agro.

If you want something to keep up with you when you travel, get a gurrcat. If you want a mount get a kaadu or dewback.

If you are not sure if the pet you are considering is in an agro skin, ask before you buy. If you end up with an agro 10 or under BE pet deed, it will tell you you have too many pets in your datapad when you try to tame it.

I'm a rifleman, I just want something to go out there and hold my target down long enough for me to kill it from 60 m. The most important thing is that the creature is tough enough to survive the blows from the MOBs.

My stock non-ch pets on Bria are 6.5k-7k/3k/2k 15-17 Kinetic. I've gotten up to 8k health and 50+ Kinetic, but that's not cheap, hehe.

Sorry friend, but the answer is no.. unless you can a 2 k HAM BE pet with 0 armor a tank...

I make cl10 pets on Lowca with 4/3/2k and 10% resists Kinetic and Energy with Dizzy attack for 50k (wont be nerfed) only 40-55 damage

Also cl10 3rd gen pets with 5800-6100 / 3300 / 1500 k with 13-15% kinetic and energy with sometimes dizzy attacks for 60k... all in Mos Nova at the DnG emporium (tents)
