My son, a Master commando, went on Endor and fought an "Arcane Webmaster", 90 heat resist and ar1. He and his buddy both died. his buddy. My son was so upset, he dropped Master commando, hehe. I the MBE father said I can kill him for you if you like. hehe.

My pet can tank those all day long and not have to even heal it till after the fight. Pet is only CL 38.

This is positive for us in3 ways:

1. Even though we kill slow, we can kill things others can not.

2. I can build pets tougher than that Webmaster and maybe at a lower CL.

3. If this is true, I can build pets that would allow us to PvP.

If there is a commando and a MCH that want to participate, I will test this. I do not have a pet personally that has 90 heat and ar1. I dont PvP. But I have to be aware of this. I would use my son, but he has lost his skills and retired his 1.75 mil heat rifle.

I wish I could help but I am MCH on a different server. I did not think it was possible to get any resists over 60-65% range. Even if you could, a quick change to an AR1 energy or acid weapon would negate the benefit. Even a Commando can use a Republic Blaster because there is no certification required. It might work the first time, as a surprise. lol

Its not the pet you really have to worry about. Remove the creature handler, and the best pet in the world might as well be a paper weight in PvP.

sorry to say but if your son was a master commando an he couldnt kill a webmaster he must either have no clue how to fight or he just sucks. And by the way right now it doesnt matter how strong you make a pet its still going to getowned in pvp. Its a known fact now that chs have beeneffectivley taken out of the pvp equation.

Please keep in mind a "wild" Webmaster is much stronger then a bio or tamed pet because they dont have the dmg penalty that all pvp has...which is why now ch is worthless in pvp.

I have a BE made kimogila that has 100% heat resistances... I think theres the cap on energy and kenetic is 60% though.

Ok, the Kinetic.. 60 is max. Energy? I am not sure. I don't thing the others have a cap. But when you get into these High resistances, you have to find them in nature. That is the tough part. Those Mutant Rancors are incredibly annoying to try to sample and I won't do it. But there are other sources. Also most creatures have at least 2 vunerabilities out of 9, so you have to decide what you have to do without. Or get 2 with different resistances. You can get resist all, but then much is compromised.

Trust me, my son knew how to play commando well, but they got nerfed to the point that he has now dropped it. I have another friend that is something else and has difficulty soloing on Dath. He might be a Rifleman.

Perhaps we just have bad memories of that past... Also, a commando can not switch to something else. that is what they have, heat.
