Creature Handler Archive

I started SWG back during beta and through the grueling first month or so when the game went live. Then in September, I went back to Anarchy Online to get ready for the Shadowlands expansion. Well after getting tired of that, in April, I finally talked myself in coming back to SWG to see what the player cities are all about. First off, I was amazed at how much the game has changed.

Well to get to it, I looked in my datapad and saw that my devil gulginaw baby was no longer there. I'm pretty sure that I didn't delete it before I quit (all my other pets were still there). Now they aren't the best of pets, but they look real cool, cooler than the Greater Gulginaw baby I have because the devil is red. What I did like about them, is they gave great xp for using them, and they made a good secondary pet because you could have it stay back and shoot. (Of course, it seems like most of my pets, which never shot before, shoot now for some reason.) I wondered around Corellia searching for another one. I heard they exist on Talus, but that information is old.

I was wondering if they still exist or have they gone extinct.

I've pretty much tamed everything on Corellia, Talus, Yavin 4, Lok, Dantooine, and Dathomir. I love capturing rare and endangered species. The rarest creature I have is probably the Crimson Razor Cat. I have see very little of these creatures in the wilds of Corellia, and I couldn't believe it when I saw a baby. Savage Humbabas make awesome mounts. They are a little high in difficulty level to pull another strong pet out, but they are huge. I look over people's houses when I ride these guys. They are pretty slow though.

Crimson cats are no longer rare. There are a couple of thread in the forum that discuss rares. As for the devil G, I believe that it has long been extinct.

On Corellia, try the mountains between Kor Vella and the Agrilat.

They seem to be around there all the time.

I used to have 2 for a while. I got mine around the imperial outpost on Talus - both from the same lair. I haven't been on Talus for afew weeksbut now that I think of it I haven't seen the Devil Gulginaw in a while.
