Thread: Ranged attack works, sorta

Has anyone else noticed that if a pet has a ranged attack that he always does the ranged attack unless the NPC runs up to it? Even when i do specials it does it ranged. I know that this is a great thing unless you want him to run up to the NPC so that all the other NPC's will agro on him and not you. is there a way that i can tell my pet not to do a ranged attack? My favorite pet is my Blurrg, but his ranged attack has gotten me killed quite a few times in the geonosian, and as a wookiee with very little armor i cant last to long with 3 enhanced klikniks on me. If anyone could help me in my delima or tell me how to get around this i would be most greatful.

this is how my ranged and specials always have worked. i tell the pet to attack, he does his ranged poison til they get close, then starts attacking AND doing specials randomly. ie dizzy strike or crippling strike
