Thread: Which boxes should I complete first?
Each tree gives you 12 additional points of CL 2-2-3-5, bottom to top. So if you want higher level pets, you get more gain going up one tree. Training gives you the most pets and commands to train. Taming let's you tame aggro creatures up to or close to your max CL. Mgmt 3 allows you to have 2 pets out at once, which is a plus so you dont' have to store your pet to tame one, but that's probably the only gain.
I chose training and taming 2 first, then finished training thru 4 just because I wanted a lot of pets and didn't really want to give up some of the ones I had. Not sure in the long run it really makes a difference, don't think points are any eaiser to come by at the higher levels.
I would have to agree that the training tree is best first to gain the total number of critters stored and some increase in your taming level. The second tree should be the management tree and then do the taming tree leaving the empath tree for last. This works out best for gaining xp and collecting the maximum number of critters available. It is also useful if you should be grinding and wish to consort with a BE to get low level critters to grind through the taming and training game. Any BE pet gives you 100 xp per command trained. Just a note that the holo grinders and up and coming CH mind find useful.
