Hunt big stuff (Rancors)with grps.

Use lov lvl pet and have it hit one time then call off. That way you get lots and lots of xp.

Easiest prof i ever did, although it can get boring if u do it on its own without another combat skill.

u get about 1k xp per pet per animal when ur just partway up the tree, and the pets only have to hit once, and its like 17.5k for the first boxes. Take carbineer as an example, i got 1k xp per animal at best, and it was 150k for the first boxes.

Just try out different pets and see what works best. tbh, wrixs and GSP's worked best for me, mastered without trying with those.

Basically what the other two said. Rather easy to get groups on Dathomir hunting Rancors. Join one, head out with a lowish pet (about CL 15 works) and when it gets down to about 10% send the pet in for a couple hits. Boom! Instant massive exp hit. Couple days of this and you'll master.

If you don't like hunting though you can tame/train/release. Set a waypoint between Theed and Keren and find lairs with babies on it. If you find two next to each other at a far enough distance apart that one resets while you're at the other then just bounce back and forth. Set up a couple hotkeys to /tellpet the command and train the same one over and over. Then Store the baby and delete it from your datapad. Takes longer but you can usually net about an average of one box every couple hours (at the later levels).

Thank you so much for pointing this out.

I've been using my level 18 cat for hunts. I'm a swordsmen, and can pretty much kill anything.

I've been having to go to the Crystal Cave to get good xp, and been getting around 1k a kill, but, this is very dangerous. I've dead several times, trying to keep my pet alive.

So, I'll go back down the ladder a little, and use my lower level pets.

i use my lvl 20 gurrcat and kill nightsister starkers (or something like that ) they give around 1800xp

nightsister guardian .. with cl 25 pet .. you get 2500 exp ... and there is a certain spawn area were the come every 1/2 minute if you kill them right away along with a nightsister scout 1500 exp
