Creature Handler Archive

Woo hoo, got one last night, finally... I was working a random lair. Started with a Queen and two Widows. I started by pulling the Queen, my reasoning being that I get the baddest out of the way first. Well, with the help of a Toxic Merek Battlelord and a Boar Wolf, the Queen drops. We heal the wounds and go back, lo and behold another Queen has popped. OK, I am use to adversity, heck I am a Creature Handler... Anyway I pull the Queen and she goes down... Arghh... another... M

aybe I am a slow learner, but I finally decide to leave the Queen alone and try the Widows, we pull the first and down it goes. We heal up and another Widow has popped, we pull another of the Widows and repeat, this goes on for another four or five Widows and FINALLY, a yellow dot... Lo and behold a Widow Baby, I tell my two pets that they did a great job but it is time to go to sleep... I pull my bike out and store my pets...

After a couple of detections and rapid withdrawals, I fanally make my way to within taming range. The baby is right under the leg of an aduly Widow, if it agroes, I am going to have to make a hasty retreat, screming like a little girl! Well, fate was with me and the baby tamed on the first try!!!
