I'm working toward my master CH, and I'm particular to using cats as my pets. My question is; what are your recommendations for the best PVE cat? Looking for the usual high HAM, good resists.

perhaps you'd have better luck on the bio-engineer forums, considering.

Greetings,
I would recommend 12K health, 60% Kinetic, ~550-600 damage, with Intimidate and Stunning Strike as specials.
I have recently had a Kima made in this maner and cannot wait to use it.

If it's the template I'm thinking of, it'll only have that 60% kinetic and be vulnerable to everything else..and turn out to be around level 30-35.

Greetings,
I imagine the template would use atleast Mutant Rancor DNA (which typically are pretty difficult to sample from what I hear), and probably Merek Harvester.to keep the Kinetic resist up that high. The problem turns out to be the Intimate/Stunningn Strike special. The Dark Kliknik Defender or Warrior (I can't remember exactly) has that combination, but it has no armor which keeps the level of the creature down a bit.
The Kima Riani made for me is CL58. 12K Ham,Kinetic 54, Energy 53, 70-80 for Elec, Acid , and Heat. I assume a healthy bit of Bark Mite Burrower Queen (for resists)was used with some Mutant Rancor DNA (for HAM and Level), allong with the Kliknik mentioned above for specials.
She mentioned this was one of her "failures" because she wanted 60% Kinetic and atleast 50% Energy. I wish her luck.
Good Luck to All,

I have a few 30-35 recipes for this. Personally I'd go with a large cat since they could keep up with a landspeeder but that's just me.

This is my recipe list. I've made some nice 35s from one of these recipes with light armor, 55-60% kinetic. A pair of these will actually produce more damage than a single higher level pet. Or you could try the trios.

Definitely large cat... storing and calling between missions is a pain. these recipes look good, thanks.
