Thread: Rancors and Grauls
Are they nerfed horribly? I have been searching from 7:40 and it is now 9:29 and still seen 0 rancor groups and 0 graul groups. Anyone else having the same problem? I know a few from Lowca are anyways. Just wondering if its serverwide.
I might have to go to endor to make money now :-/
Same on Radiant, looked for 3 hours, found nothing but two ancient grauls and some of the rancors that are nightsister owned.
Looks like they thought they'd solve the problem of too many of these large mobs by eradicating the species.

I was trying to fill an order for a Frenzied Graul, and I can't find any, anywhere!!! Im even trying this zig-zag pattern of running between waypoints to cover almost all the group in the South-eastern corner. Is there a better sport for Grauls btw?

I think the spawns are either nerfed or shifted.
I myself is having a hard time looking for FG yesterdat too. 
All iw ant to say is thank god they did this. There are still some left you just have to look everyone and htere grandma where taming rancors and they are supposed to be rare. Dont you think it brings more fun if they are rare? i know i do i dont want to have somehting EVERYONE has you know waht im saying ??

I just bought a frenzied graul. The guy claimed it was best pet in game, it hits for 580 and is supposed to only absorb like 10% of the damage given. has over 10k HAM, and is supposed to make opponents bleed when it attacks, I havent had a chance to test it out yet, anyone know if this pet is really that good? How much is it worth?
I don't think they were clever enough to turn off the spawns, I think the spawns, like many other things in the game, just stop working periodically.
Friday night I spent considerable time in the Rancor area. 0 spawn. Nothing. Not even any non-aggro mobs. Ran all the way out west to the valley. 0 spawns all the way there. 0 spawns up and down the entire length of the valley.
Saturday, there were Rancors and Grauls of all types in those same areas. Finally got my Frenzied Graul and Gnarled Rancor! Yea for me! 
Today (Sunday), I made the run again. No Rancors, no Grauls, just saw 4 spawns on the entire journey (1 Reptilian Flyer, 1 Baz Nitch, and 2 Kiwis). I saw those same 4 spawns on the way back to the outpost, too. IOW, there were 0 new spawns in the 1.5 hours between my going west and then retracing my steps back east to the outpost.
Something is just Wrong with this Picture...
They still exist guys, just found 3 Graul spawns, one frenzied, normal and ancient. Im glad they are rare too, help drive up the prices a little And keep EVERYONE and their dog skippy from having one.

I have been here for 3 days and counting. I have searched 7+ hours per day. I have talked to five other master CHs about this in-game. After a whole weekend, after scouring the whole SW region, the whole NE region, most of the NW region, everywhere within 2k meters of each outpost, and even under the bed, not one of us has seen a single rancor or graul baby. I saw some nightsister rancors and 2 bull rancors...that's about it.
I used coords found on this message board. I checked all the way west and all the way SW and the dessert plains and around the small lakes. Not one rancor, not one graul. This is not "rare" this is "bullshi*t"
I think it's because of the large army of players flooding the planet doing baz nitch missions. I theorize that these mission spawns are too much for the server to handle and it is compensating for the unforseen activity on what is supposed to be a relatively desserted planet by eliminating all the tough spawns. More baz nitch lairs = fewer gruals. That's my theory anyway.
At least this is not just an Eclipse problem apparently....maybe the slowing down of static spawns affected this somehow.
