Today I gave up CH and switched from TKA/CH to TKA/sword. I just got tired of all the bugs and particularly my pets getting stuck in the geometry or not following my commands. So, I'm done with CH. More than likely I am done with the entire character, since combat was boring before respeccing and so far is still boring.

But that aside, I wanted to thank the various people on the CH forum. You guys really know your stuff and you're great. This is one of the better forum crowds on these boards.

Doubt it... my combat alt's days are likely quite numbered, because I find the new combat system thoroughly, mind-numbingly boring. Soloing is reduced to single-pull killing... Grouping is still fun, but you can't always get a group, and sometimes I want to just go beat stuff up. You really can't anymore, at least not in a satisfying/challenging way.

My non-combat alt will likely be around for a long time... I have too many friends in our guild to just quit. But the combat alt... given that I play her like 2 hours a week now... is not likely to stay around for much longer.

Everything I have that was even remotely decent is a wild tame. All my BE'ed pets converted to crap, other than the 2 I was afraid to try. Those 2 are a friend's who left the game over a year ago and I won't part with those no matter what happens, for sentimental reasons.

The wild tames I have are all easy enough to come by (things like bracks or female nargs) so I probably don't have anything anyone would want.

Well, you lasted longer than I did. I agree 100% with what you posted. Before, combat could be fun and exciting, now, it is far from it. It was a bit more tactical then as well. Pets have too many issues for me to enjoy myself. Before, I could at least work around some of them. It seems with each 'fix' five other things get broken. I kept MCH for about less than a week after the new combat system went live. I found it too frustraiting to deal with.
