hi all, just wondering why i cant name some of my pets, i put the name then the command when i am training them but the name doesnt appear, am i just buged or is this happening to others? all i know is that its really annoying

Some names are restricted for pets - I've heard that it could be because it is the name of a player, or that it's a name the devs didn't want us to use. For example, I highly doubt you could ever name a pet Leia. I once tried to name a pet Shanks and it just didn't work. I'd suggest trying another name, see if that works, and if it doesn't you could maybe makea bug report (one of many for the CH profession).

There are certain character strings you cannot use in pet names. For example, I wanted to name my savage humbaba "Concorde", like Dennis Moore's horse.

Unfortunately, the tring "corde" is ALSO the name of Padme's handmaiden who takes the fall for her at the beginning of Ep II.

So I had to change the humbaba's name to "Concord", without the e. The e made all the difference.

Some of the general naming rules that apply to players, like titles of nobility for example, apply to pets as well.
