This is dealin with the problem a ch gets when he uses his pets to pull mobs. Sometimes the pet gets stuck in pathing if you tell him to stop or follow so he doesnt get the whole mob engaged, or when the mob gets distracted from your pet and attacks someone else leavin your pet in that "Im stuck and I dont wanna chase mood". Just tell him this....

Follow Target

So simple, but yet I been dealin with this problem since CU. It puts your pet back on target where he should be, and not stuck just growlin at the mob. Have a nice day CHr's

The problem is that sometimes the status of the pet develops to perma-agro where it gets stuck in agro even after the enemy is dead, and no amount of follow targeting can fix that, you've still got to be careful with your pets when they get stuck....

This thread is not for the perm agro... this is when your in a tight area and you need to pull the mob directly to your spot. By giving the commands... attack, follow... or attack, stop.... to bring themob to you,and then having the target wander away from your pet due to somethin else drawing his agro can leave your pet behind. The follow target command will put your pet back on the creature to do some damage and not just sittin on the sidelines as an ornament.

i do this myself sometimes, but sometimes even follow target doesnt seem to work for me. i like to use it to have my pet already next to target so i got time to get a couple sniper shots in before the target gets to me, but it only works like half the time.

I've used the 'follow target' command as well, but then I just started pulling with a ranged pet. It works great for me so far using a lurking angler. The pet likes to park itself for the duration of the fight but thanks to its ranged ability, I dont' see an effect in combat performance.
