Thread: Workaround for Pet Won't Store, Attack, only Follows Bug

Having come across this problem a few times the past week I decided to try something while I was out with a couple of my guildmates. After my picket plains walker refused to do anything but "follow" I decided to duel one of my guildmates and had him incap my pet. Worked like a charm. As soon as he attacked it my pet became usable again. Not the greatest fix, but at least it will allow you to continue using that pet and not force you to log out or delete it.

Hi there. I have just became CH and with the Double Xp turned on I have risen pretty fast too. But I have also had this problem with pets, that they will do nothing but follow. I have worked around the fix, I just keep sapmming follow like 3 times then try attack on my target and it usually works. I did have to log off and on one time to fix it, but that was before I tried spamming Follow. It seems to work for now. Also if you have a pet attack a lair, then a spawn of creature comes out and you try to send the pet after the creture same thing has happened, it wont listen to command. So again I try to spam Follow and then attack on the new target. Hope this helps a bit and adds a fix to the problem.
