Ok, i was running mantigrue missions on saturday.

Ifinally came across a baby on my 4th mission that day.I put on my my +25 taming and put away my rancor and BE narglatch. when i tried to start my tame it says i cant tame it.I just realized that my max level pet is +53 and screechers are lvl55, but i thought my +25 taming clothing would enable me to tame that, i guess i was wrong--dead wrong Could someone tell me what the heck the +25 taming was suppose to do anyway? Im a 4424 CH.

Ok, so it took me a whole hour banging my head on the wall, after that i sat down again and proceeded to get mission after mission.

On my 9th mission lair i came across another baby popping out of the lair. I'll tell you guys in a bit what my theory is on how to increase your chances on popping a baby out of a lair. Some of you may have already tried it and i think it's probable.

Ok, back to the second baby, this baby came out with it's mother and by this time the motheris already aggroafter i tapped the lair. so here i was killing the mother while the baby stood there and watched as my two pets take her out. As soon as the mother died, i tried to pull away the pets with my follow me command (c) c <enter> c<enter> c<enter> - just spamming the heck out them. i think there is a bug where after the pets learn a new command like Trick2 and you teach them that I always end up re-teaching the whole list of commands. So here i am trying to pull them away, i managed to get my narglatch to peace and come to me, but my rancor was just hacking away at the baby **crying** **yelling** STOP!!!! ...brief moment of silence. somehow after my rancor was done dealing his destructive ways, i cant help notice the smile on his face. I wanted to destroy him right then and there! anotehr hour passed and then i realized how lucky i am to see 2 baby spawns in such a short time.

Here's what i noticed everytime I approach the mission lair. They always come in pairs and 80 percent of the time they start to move away from the lair in opposite directions, unless the lair is situtuated ina small confined trenced orwooded area. My theory is that if they are far enought for me to tap the lair before i wreak havoc, the lair will obviously spawn 2 more screechers, but this is what i've learned from the 2 babies--those babies spawned because there were at least 1 or 2 existing adult screechers out already. My thinking is that the server realizes that the chances of spawning a baby is great when the amount of adults out are large, ie 2 or 4--which makes sense. The trick is to not aggro the adults that are close enought to the lair when you tap it. I'm still testing this out to see if that is the case. I find myself not having enought motivation to complete the mission after the seconde set of spawn that the lairs do. So next time, im going to just get missions and tap them before i kill the adults to see if i can force a baby out.

Tell me if others are doing this as well because i thought that was interesting. Again, they need to fix that new command/re-teach bug i encounter a lot, im sure others have to.

I wish I had found two Screecher babies. I've been doing Mantigrue Screecher missions (they go for23k in case anyone is interested)in hopes of findind a baby. No luck so far.

The +25 taming merely increases your chances of successfully taming a creature that is already equal to or under your maximum pet level. If your max level was 55, the +25 Taming Vicious Creatures on your clothes would help you succeed in taming the Screecher baby. If your max is 54 or lower, you can't tame it no matter what.

I like this theory,i have been running mission after mission of screechers. I always use the same approach...

kill the pair guarding the lair, then tap the lair and kill the pair that spawn, rinse and repeat...

thus far my total screecher baby sightings is.....

A BIG FAT ZERO!!!!!

I think i will try this approach, leave one or both out when i tap the lair....I just hope they don't do the crazy rancor cannibil act and start killing each other off first.

*crosses fingers*
