Thread: Mantigrue Screecher & Rhoa Kwi Packleader

I have tamed a Rhoa kwi packleader and Mantigrue screecher this week, here are the stories:
After finishing the FS patrols at Aurilia I was heading back to the outpost. As I CH I was tabbing every out of the ordinary con. And there it was! a frikin Rhoa kwi packleader though I wasn't even looking for it! I put on my BE colthes and tried to tame it. It succeeded without a incident.
Now that I was done with the FS quest I decided I'd try finding a mantigrue screecher once more. I headed to endor and started getting mantigrue screecher missions. I use a lvl 5 pet (my poor large chuba, yes I feel guilty
) to knock each lair once. That way it doesn't get diseased and there isn't a fight between the mants and the pet. After alot of missions I heard phase 2 began and I was was about to board the starship off endor so I could start the new FS quests. At the last moment I decided I would give it one more shot, I took 2 more missions and headed out into the wilderness. The first lair didn't spawn a baby and I was getting extremely bored but I managed to get to the second lair. I knocked it with my chuba and than flew around the lair until the the screechers stopped their aggro. And then the baby spawned. The adrenaline rushed into my system and I prepared for the tame. The taming failed about 7 times and the parents aggroed me about 4 times (it wasn't fair, I had mask scent on all the time :S ). But at last I tamed it!

You're lucky. On my 4 attempts I've been the victim of a plague strike 2 times. Very nasty stuff that ate 1/2 my buffed brain.
The screechers are still on my list to get.

Then you will like bull rancors. 1 Lair = max wounds on all 3 HAM stats, at least if you are melee. From entertainers and medics i usually get comments like "OMG, what happened to you?" when i show up with 1/1/1 HAM and rest in black after my buffs are gone

Thats why I like being TKM/MCH. I can do Bull Lairs all day. I just meditate to stop the disease and get rid of the wounds. When I go to the Cantina with 900 Battle Fatigue I get similar comments though. But those grinding love the xp. lol

Hehe, I just tamed another Rhoa kwi pack leader... Anyone else on eclipse want it? I might give it away for free....

Same here.
Also grats on the tames, got my screecher not too long ago.
