I am one of the oldest Ch on kauri. i have been a master since the opening month the game came out. I love Ch and cant give it up, not even for a jedi slot. (screw jedi, too many anyhow.) well i have never had a rare pet or even seen a baby one. well last night im omw to the village and i stopped fora sec and just out of pure coincidence i see a rhoa kwi guardian baby,. I flipped out, it was my first rare i have ever seen. so i get my taming shirt on and go to tame it, i failed and instantly it aggros me, so i start running to break the aggro, and it would break. the pet eventually died... i was so pissed i was shouting and screaming. i lost him but im looking at the list of rares thats on this site, and i used to have a prowling gurreck and deleted him lol didnt know he was rare plus i see judland eopie babies and watseland cupa babies all the time...oh well just my sad day.....

I'm sorry for your loss. It's heartbreaking to see a baby we want get ripped from us in one manner or another.

I am on Kauri, have been a creature handler as long as you have almost and have a rhoa kwi guardian I will be glad to give you as a gift. I have started collecting rares, and this one is in my datapad butI will never use him.

I may have to delete him if we dont get more space soon. Sent me a tell or e-mail in game and the prize is yours.

I have now a screecher, prowling gurrek, rhoa kwi guardian, and that is about it, Kauri is pretty scarce these days. I also have an arachne webmaster I will give you if you want him, maybe a few more pets if you are interested.

I just can't delete them.

thank you ekaw that is very kind. and i agree kauri is scare. i cant tell you how many bull ancor lairs i have done and never seen a bull baby. or even heard of anyone on our server seeing one.. but i agree its hard to let some of your pets go, even if you dont use them. i still have the first 2 mountain squill i tamed. but ill be honest, they make an amazing team together and can take on pretty much anyone. i did the force crystal cave the other night and called them out.. they would sit there and tank for me while i pounded my sword away. and i wouldnt take all that much damage and neither would they. i love my pets, and shame to anyone of you who gets rid of CH for a stupid Jedi.....................

In one of those super odd coincidence stories, I am a fairly new CH on Kauri (4/4/2/4) and I too was on my way to the Village for the first time. I stopped in the middle of some gurnasets to renew my masked scent and noticed the tell-tale green circle of a baby on my HUD. It was a Rhoa Kwi Guardian!!

Like you I threw on my taming gear, scarfed down some taming munchies and approached with caution. While crossing my fingers, toes and everything else I could find I too waited with baited breath to see if I was successful. Thankfully, my story has a happier ending and I did in fact get him (or her - I haven't decided yet).

I just happened to check this board to see if it was in fact a rare pet. Very cool.

It sounds like the path to the village is a good source. Hopefully you will be able to find another one soon.
