Dragonets (CL 29)and scyks(CL 12) both spawn babies, and are tameable.

Well, as for taming creatures in the wild, both of those spawn babies if you want to hunt them down.
The question is... why do you want them? If it's for collector's reasons, then by all means start hunting!
If it's for combat reasons... I think both of those pets will falter in combat. You probably don't want to use them, since there are much more useful creatures to be had.
If it's because you think they look cool (since these both have the same type of creature skin), then you can meld style and functionality by calling on your friendly neighborhood Bio Engineer to get some good DNA and stuff it into a Dragonet skin!

They actually make great pets for xp. They almost always use their ranged attack so its very possible to have them hit a creature you can kill rather quickly without taking any damage themselves. I used a skyck for several weeks to tap critters before I killed them. Many pets with ranged attacks tend to close before using the attack but not these two.

CH's are able to train scyks, but I'm not sure about dragonets.

Yes I know I can just go to a bio enginer for ubber pets (and I do have a few pets purchsed from them) But I still like to go out an tame the creatures on occasion (as I would like to be able to tame a baby scyk or dragonet and stuff). Every sucessfull tame is a small victory for me lol does anyone know what I mean?
