It is time for me to hit the "Surrender skill button" Been a CH for quite some time now combined with TK and I cant even be bothered to pull out my pets any longer. By the time the get around to attacking the mob is already dead by my hand.
CH is just not viable any longer in both PvP and PvE it is nothing but a novality but as from a skill point point of view a very expensive and time consuming one.
What with the Autostore and running away and pull out timers and store timers, they are more hassle than they are worth.
Today bit the dust for me watching my 9k HAM Razor Cat get Pwned by a Sharnaff Bull.
Im going to put these free skill points to good use..........

Ya i hear ya, just blew awaythe CH portion of my TK/CH the other day also....got to the point where it got to be too much of a pain to pull em out...personally id really like to knowthe truth behind the destruction of this profession.

Creatures are just an extension of your weapon, but if your weapon keeps breaking and doesnt do consistent damage over time would you want to use it?
At the moment CH is a novelty that gives the WOW factor nothing more nothing less. Their combat effectiveness is null and the response times of pets along with store times and calling times just add to the problems.
I remember the first time I pulled out my Frenzied Graul and stood in awe of its size and stature but that awe has alll but gone and I am left wondering what am I clinging on to.
I was clinging on to the hope that one day the class would become viable in combat once more, but going on future publishes this does not look apparent.
I wish all you fellow CH's all the best andI only hope that you will cling on to the hope long enough for a fix to the problems that plague this class.

Sorry to see you go.
I think a lot of the disappointment lately is that players have gotten too strong. With comp and buffs nothing can compare to our own toon for tanking and if that is all the pet is for then I understand why people leave CH. Its going to be interesting to see what happens if they do make it so you can't solo a rancor alone once again.

TKM/MCH here as well but I'm hangin onto CH at least untill after the combat balance. if that dosent give me a reason to keep pulling pets I may decide to finaly give in as well but untill then I'll just hang onto what I'v got.

Welcome to the land of non-CH's. There are many of us here now. It's been about a week for me since I dropped it and the thing I miss the most is not what damage my pets did in battle (what damage?) but rather just having my pets out, running around with me. That's all they did really for the last few months.
I hope you find what you're looking for. Hopefully, some day we will be able to come back to this profession and feel useful again.

you know i have been mch since 10-15 of last year or so and I have never had autostore happen in a fight. Ahh well, I still say the combat rebalance will have peeps on the same playing field.
