Head for the Imp prison on Dathomir from the Trade Outpost and you should see a load , tamable versions are Shear Mite , SM Hunter , SM Recluse i think and one other i forget. Unfortunately queens don't seem to be tamable. Never tamed one muself so could'nttell you the CL although i would think they are around 20-25 maybe.

You can get reclusive shear mite missions from the terminal at the Dathomir Science Outpost. Aside from hunters and reclusives, I haven't seen other babies since the recent patch.

I found a Baby last night....but had to kill it because it went agro

unfortunately for the next 2 hours I did find anymore....but Idid find was a lot of Broodlings that I could not tame.

Shear mites, hunters, and recluses do spawn babies. I've seen them all over the place around the Science Outpost. I've only seen lurking shear mites in the southern wastes of Dathomir but I haven't seen a baby yet.

My server has got some great Dathomirian Scaley Hide now. I went to the terminals with a group of 12 people and could not get missions for any type of shear mite. Do these critters spawn missions or will I have to swoop around the planet looking for them? Thanks for any replies.

Not playing anymore buy my stuff to help newbs.

You get missions, you just probably didn't have high enough level. (or were too high) That what sucks about dathomir. It's a wide range of mission levels.

any idea how much they are worth?

maybe the group was too big, should I try solo?
