Only if the pet is a non-CH animal. The pet must be creature level 10 or lower. A BE pet that has a lower CL or anaturalcarrion spat.

BE's can make CL10 mount pets. I made a friend of mine a fairly decent Bantha. Nothing special stat-wise, but the little BOthan looks good 15 feet in the air.

Any NON-CH player can ride a NON-CH mount - that is a mount(able) pet lvl 10 (and below) - NO special skills are needed to ride the pet - of course it will still need to be trained in standard commands (like store, group, etc.).
These pets are trainable as mounts when they reach 70-100% full growth (depending on species size), this means a lvl 10 pet, needs to wait till it's 7-10th lvl (depending on species) before it can be trained as a mount.
For Creature Handlers...any of the 'mount-trainable' pets (see listing in a previous post on the forum) can be used/ridden - no matter what level they are (of course, usage depends on your max pet levels skill mod).
Ex: a Master CH can use a 70th lvl Bio Engineered Cu Pa as a mount.

If a master CH(or just a CH who can turn pets into mounts) trains a pet of mine into a mount, can I ride it or do I need a certain skill?
