Creature Handler Archive

Tell me if I misread something or if I got confused. I know about Veermoks (giant gorilla appearance) but a while back I was looking at swg.allahkazam.com and I thought I read a comment about creatures on naboo that looked like Hanadaks but the size of the Veermoks. Is this correct and what were the names of the creatures? I've looked over the above site and also swgcreatures.com and none of the names look familiar. I'm starting to wonder if I put the comments someone made about veermoks with the appearances of Hanadak.

I've done a lot of rare creature hunting and never seen anything like you describe on Naboo.

The creature you are referring to is the Giant Veermok. I used to have one, in my mid-level CH days.

I don't particularly care for their HAM, but they are the tallest tamable creatures in the game.

I found mine on Naboo. Go to Kadaara <sp> starport, head South until you hit the big mountain, keep going to the large lake....in the swamp areas around that lake, you will find Veermok lairs. When you find them, you will not ALWAYS see aGiantVeermok at the first spawn. Sometimes you have to destroy the spawn around it and tap a lair to get a Giant Veermok, much less a Giant Veermok baby. I had to do this with several lairs before I found one.

And for what it's worth, they are my personal favorite of the 'ape' class creatures in the game (though many will say the hanadaks are superior). But these are CL22. You can (and I've never tried it) pull out 3 at once at the MCH level with taming clothes.

Thanks for the replies. Tycalibur, I know about the giant veermoks. I thought there was another "giant" type that looked like the hanadaks(baboon like). I think I was just confused. Thanks for both responses.

This is a campire story, but I heard a once-upon-a-time story about Gurk Kings as pets (when their was such a thing). It might be that you're thinking of.
