Hi guys,

My question concerns the food "Almon Kwavuu Biscuits" incase some of you don't know about it, it gives a percentage increase to your taming bonus.

Currently using decent materials I can easily make a +15 to taming for 13 mins.

My question is how useful is this to you???

And does anyone know if its taming to both yellow and red con animals or just one?

Im asking as with the combet rebalance taking place soon I can see CH returning to the lime light once again as players can no longer be the Ub3r HAM balls pets used to be (I was a CH/bio during beta and for3 months after launch).

I guess a MCH wouldnt need this kind of food but would aspiring or grind CH find it useful?

Also what would you be willing to pay for a food that gives +15 and you get 3 doses? does 2k sound to much?

Thanks in advance to those who take the time out to answer my questions.

I think it boosts both yellow and red. I use the stuff any time I'm going to tame or train a pet.

I had no idea it existed and would certainly use it. When I'm taming pets near my cap it makes a big difference to have a boost and the hat I got looks funny

I am a MCH and used it quite a bit. It was easier to find than +25 Taming clothes on my server. It seems the drop in CH's killed the demand and Taylors just were not making them. I finally found a +25 hat that looks silly but works. So, I do not use it that much anymore because of the +25 cap.

2k per sounds about right or maybe a little low. If you could get the filling below 50% a person could hit the +25 cap with two doses. This would allow a CH to keep all of his armor on and still get the bonus. Some of the little guys can get quite nasty when you tame them and momma has been known to object. lol

You can only take one dose tho. If ya try to take it again it will say, "You are already under the influence of this. " Or something to that effect.

I'm not actively taming now, as I'm a gimped 0/0/1/4 former MCH with a totally filled up datapad.

But if I were actively taming, I'd be on this food in a heartbeat, the way I am on accuracy enhaning foods for my commando grind, and on burnout sauce when I'm working on unarmed XP.

food is not subject to the +25 cap, nor is it affected by clothing bonus caps. you can take the food, and wear the clothing at the same time, and get BOTH bonuses.

If that is true, you guys should try Jawa beer with your +25 mask scent stuff.

I moved to Corellia I have no vendor and I don't know the coords to my house, but it doesn't really matter cause all my pets are in the tool box, I may have some in space, but that doesn't really concern you either.

I do, and really don't notice a difference. I also don't notice a change when Iwear the mask scent clothing.

Thanks for all the answers guys and hopefully you wont mind answering my next questions.

At what rate do you use pet buffing food like Felbar, Pastebread, blap biscuts and sweesonberry rolls?

Do you find them useful or is it more for Non-ch who use BE'd pets for specials attacks that sometimes have lower mind pools to get them under CL10?

When I've got a pet out for tanking, I 'll use blap buscuits, but the catch is, with the bugginess of autostoring, if you move across an invisible server line, the pet poofs and the buff you just fed him goes with it.

Which means that these foods will not get the usage of foods for PCs;just last night I had my GSP holding aggro on some Nyax goons and he poofed in the middle of the fight. If I had buffed him up, the buff would be gone. So why bother buffing if there's a good chance the buff will never have an impact due to the autostore bug?

Besides the autostore/buff problem, I do not buff my pets. Like may CH's I either heal them up after a fight or store them when the HAM gets low and use another pet. If a pet has 11 or 12k of HAM another 1 or 2k does not make that much difference.
