...would you rather regrind your old pets, or not have the publish for another six months while they work out a system of granted abilities for current CH's?
I know, I know, the smart-azz answer (and a valid one) is "I'd rather devs give us a publish that took that into consideration." But they didn't. But I know a lot of Rangers, Droid Engineers and Squad Leaders who would regrind the profession for a new system, and I'm one CH that feels the same.
I think most of us will actually have fun grinding pets and hunting down new abilities (I know I will). And with the new spawns we can go back to hunting faves like the bull rancor and the GPS, which now have a chance to spawn a Baby. 
(And to be totally honest, I'm willing to bet the baby-spawn system will need some fine tuning, so we may have a week of crazy spawns ahead of us.)
Anywhoot, just wanted to say (and see if I can get some hollas of agreement) that I don't mind regrinding my pets or having to replace some because it will not only give me the chance to learn the new system, but hunting for and fighting with pets is one of the reasons I'm CH.
Now...GET THOSE SERVERS UP!!

Yep, I'm planning on emptying my datapad. so if anyone on Intrepid wants something: aBE rancor (42), a trio of nargs, a toxic merek battlelord (54), an arachne drone (54), a blurrg, a roba, a male brackaset mount (65), a mature reptilian flier (69), a perlrk ravager (47), a perlek scavenger (47), a bol mount (29, I think), and others. Send me an email in game if you're interested, these guys need good homes. All I ask is that you rename them, as I'll likely use these names again.

only 4 pets you have are worth having the nargs and rept flier ...Can i ask why do you even have the other pets?

Lol. I have a leviasquall and a gualama in my datapad. They're useless, but the ladies love em. Not everyone only keeps fighters in their datapad.

The nargs are not worth having anymore. The elite pets have been nerfed. This gives many of us room in our datapad to tame, learn abilities and release. Not really a reason to empty the entire datapad. Especially immediately.

Well, I'm quitting for at least six months, probably for good .... that answer the question?
If some maniac cuts off your leg and asks whether you'd like him to sew on a pegleg or let you bleed to death, I think most people would say "I'd rather you hadn't cut the damned leg off"

Woof. Well if you really don't like the game just hit cancel and it's problem solved. Sorry to see an MCH go though.

No, I don't want to "regrind" my pets. I've spent a lot of time over the last couple of years exploring, doing missions, etc. I've spent a lot of time finding/taming pets I want. I'm not looking forward at all to doing it all over again - especially considering how hard it is to tame worthwhile pets now. I've always said that if I EVER start using the word "grind" to describe how I'm playing the game, instead of the word "FUN", I'll quit. I'm truly hoping this doesn't turn into a grind.
