Thread: Been away from SWG for a while and was wondering how they nerfed solo grouping?

Being unable to pay for SWG is rough... hehehe. Anyways, I read that solo grouping has been nerfed. What are the particulars on it? Are we at least still able to group with our pets to get higher missions and then ungroup them and still get the higher payout?

yes ch's are unaffected...it's mostly those lg groups on dant (on my server anyhow) now you only get 1/# in group of payout..that is if you were in a solo group of 30 doing a 30k mission you would get paid 1k....we can pull better missions with the pets without penalty..there seems to be a ganeric message when you finsh a mission groyuped with a pet, something like "some members are too fay away to recieve payment" but you still get the full amount..

100% Agree. Even in Corbatis, MO is the center of most of the LfSG spam.
Anyhow, people keep on asking for solo groups in order to pull better missions and XP the experience. You still barely see 2 or 3 people attacking the same lair nowadays 
They should fix it so you can call missions at the same level of the "nearer" group members to the caller. people would stay together a bit more, I think.

they should change it so that theres actualy a reason to group!
aside from just grinding xp, grouping has no reason to exist at all, even if your in a group of just two people and you attack the same target, your getting only half the xp you could. i still cant make sense of that. in a massivley MULTIPLAYER game, you are actualy penalised for interacting with other players.
all the solo group nerf has done is increase the grinding, it was hard enough to do anything social in the game, now we have people that do their XP grind in a solo group, then when theyve finished that, they quit the group and grind some MORE to earn cash. and as they cant earn as much cash as they did before the nerf they have to grind even longer! i thought the amount of mindless repetitive grinding that went on before was bad, but now.....
its a pity that xp in all types ofgroups doesnt work the way it does in entertainer groups. when your in an ent group each floruishearns an extra 5% xp for every person that your grouped with, so in a group of 20 your earning twice the xp that you would as a solo performer, PLUS the way that ent healing xp is shared amongst the group (if one person heals someone for 5xp worth of damage, EVERYONE in that group gets the 5xp). thats the way grouping should work for all professions. it would need a little tweaking to fit to the combat profs but it still got to be better the mindless hologr..., sorry, force xp grind or pilot grind or jedi skills grind that seems to dominate the game these days. well thats my 5 pence worth, now if you'll exscuse me im only only three more buff sessions away from ranged defence 4....
