Finally made it to Master Creature Handler
I have a few BE pets, and some not so wonderful other stuff. I keep taming spats to sell as non-CH mounts at starports, but what else should I do? I have a few questions:
What's the best CH mount? So farI kinda like my Giant Carrion Spat, it's soooo big that it doesn't usually have to swim!
What wild pets should I look for? Why? I picked up a Rhoa Kwi Pack Leader and a Rhoa Kwi Guardian on my way to the village right after I mastered. They seem pretty good, but their level is really high.
Is it best to work with a pair of lvl 35ish pets or one uber lvl 70ish pet? I don't think using 3 pets that are all lvl 23ish would work out too well, but that's why I'm asking. I don't know.
Any input would be appreciated

First, congrats on getting master.
I have three mounts: a mountain dewback, a brackaset male, and a CL 21 BE cupa. I find the dewback to be pretty handy, because he's CL 20, and I can use him with both of my GSPs, or with one of my CL 40 cats.
I generally hunt with two pets out. My experience is that the pets seem to be more effective in groups, but if you try to have 3 out, they're going to go down faster, simply because the lower lvl pets don't have as much HAM.

Congratulations.
Hmm best mount, matter of preference really, I tamed a brother and sister Brackaset pair on Dath and I kept the maleHerman as my mount. Advantages he was level 30 and could fight when needed at a pinch, disadvantage he was too high a level to let me keep one of my other good wild pets out half the time. But Im fond of him, so he stays.
Best pets, well you've got one of the nice ones with the Pack Leader. I like Toxic Merek Battlelords for all round fighting, good resists, armour, tough little spiders. But they're level 45, so I get a nice BE pet or two that I can call our with them. And Im also fond of Gaping Spider hunters and recluses. It is preference though, you usually end up with a mix of wild pets you can fight with, rares you pick up, and BE pets. Then you run out of space and howl a lot when you have to choose to release long time pets you are fond of for new ones.
Most important thing, just have fun with it...

Gratz on master. My personal preference on mounts, I have a Wastelands Cu Pa that is good value hes a nice Honey brown colour so different from the usual green or red and is noticibly larger than normal/BE versions.
I generally dont use any of my mounts as combat pets since I have much more effective combatives in my datapad but if that was my intention thenI would use my Savage Humbaba on ranged attack while I get up close and personal with the mob.
Some more good wild tamed pets are: Mantigrue Screecher (light armour, Plague Strike and Strong Disease), Merek Deaths Head (great pet damage plus strong disease and poison), Arachne Webmaster (light armour and strong poison), Gurreck (light armour and Intimidate). All of these pets are cl50 or higher and have around 11k HAM so can take a beating while dealing damage of their own.
My only wishis that the Poison type specials worked on command <sigh>
