Frenzied Blitz is supposed to increase the attack speed of the pet. I tested this by counting the number of attacks made over a period of time to a single target. Attack speed (or time between attacks) is determined by speed=(hits-1)/time and attack rate determined by 1/speed or rate=time/(hits-1).

Frenzied Blitz test

no training
143 hits in 309s = 2.176 speed , 0.459 attacks/s
139 hits in 304s = 2.202 speed , 0.454 attacks/s
137 hits in 303s = 2.228 speed , 0.449 attacks/s

average 2.202 speed 0.454 attacks/s

Frenzied Blitz L1

136 hits in 301s = 2.230 speed , 0.449 attacks/s
150 hits in 327s = 2.195 speed , 0.456 attacks/s
140 hits in 309s = 2.223 speed , 0.450 attacks/s

average 2.216 speed 0.452 attacks/s

Frenzied Blitz L2

150 hits in 329s = 2.208 speed , 0.453 attacks/s
140 hits in 308s = 2.216 speed , 0.451 attacks/s
140 hits in 309s = 2.223 speed , 0.450 attacks/s

average 2.216 speed 0.451 attacks/s

Note: server timings/latency, ping times and/or the general mood of the internet will have an effect since I can only measure what the server shows me. Comparing the minimum and maximum readings over the whole test shows a difference of only 2% so any effect by frenzied blitz would have shown up.

The results speak for themselves, frenzied blitzdoes absolutlely nothing.

I'm not surprised.

Enrage Pets (which increases Melee Damage by 25 and Defense by -40) also seems to be broken, or at least there was no visible change in the damage output listed in the Combat log when I was testing it.

Devs, can we get some fixes for our new, shiny upgrade?

Are you sure about this? I have a Giant Spined Puc (CL 66) with the innate ability Frenzied Blitz L3, and he hits about 5 times for every 2 times that I hit. My speed is about 1.74 or so. I dont have a pet of the same species to compare with it though, so maybe thats jsut its natural speed.

Are you sure it don't work?

I putL2 on a BIO pet and the SOB hits 1 hit every second, it used to hit 1 hit every 2 seconds........

clones (and droids) tend to attack at speed 1, or thereabouts.

I haven't been having any problems with /enrage on my pets. I'm not sure exactly how much of an increase in damage there is with all the scaling, but it does increase.

I am certain that L1 is not working. My pet with it attacked at the same rate and in the same order as the other two pets I had working with it over a long period of time.
