I tamed a lvl 13 elder gualama 2 days ago and after I tamed it I got the message that it had an ability I could traintrain it "Staggering Strike"it's been my main grinding pet sofar, after so many kills I get the message that it has gained 9 ability points and now in its exam window it says somthing like its ready to learn 5 abilities. It doesnt list what the new abilities are and theres nothing else in the training window "God I Feel Like A Noob" but I have to ask what do I need to do to train my pet?

WOW! You HAVE used it a LOT in two days, LOL!
The Staggering Attack it came with is the same as Stun. You have to train it with a command and every time you tell your pet that command, it will stun your target.
The 5 ability "slots" your pet has are empty places where a new training ability can go, once YOU learn something else to train it. Pets have to earn these Ability Slots by grinding xp in battle, so your elder gualama has been a busy boy. 
You willhave to tame some other pets and learntheir skillsin order to teach him something to fill THOSE slots.

OOOOOOoo K I get it now.
Both me and him have been very busy I started this alt last monday night and have been grinding out the days getting him leveled up.
I really dont like what they did to the ch xp,they made it almost impossible to solo grind efficiently. I

Oh I forgot another question.
Someone gave me a sprat that has a few abilities is there any way to learn them from it?

You need to use it in combat so that it gains a random amount of XP (check it in the datapad) and then you will get a message on screen that you have learned its ability.

You can only learn an ability from a freshly tamed creature. This means it hasn't been used in combat by anyone yet. So if you got a spat which had 0/14000 xp, then you can learn that ability from it. Anything else than 0, and you cannot learn it.
